Reiki I Course - Tera Mai Reiki & Seichem

Saturday 4th September (10am-5pm) £150

Training takes place here at Banyan Retreat, during which time students will receive their attunements to Reiki I. These attunements empower the recipient to carry out their own self-healing and to share Reiki with others. Following the attunements there is a 21-28 day cleansing period for personal self-healing. Recipients of Reiki I are then encouraged to work with this energy on themselves and on others.

This complete course Reiki I, includes the history of Reiki, frequency healing with Rei and Ki energies, Reiki's psychic and spiritual potential, how to use your individual healing gifts, how Reiki works, hand positions for self healing and healing others.

This course is designed to introduce the student to the wonderful world of Reiki. All courses include course Folder and Notes, a Certificate and Post course advice.

An Evening of Clairvoyance with

KAREN FORD

We are pleased to welcome Karen to Banyan Retreat.

Karen remembers as a young child hearing sounds from downstairs whilst everyone was asleep in bed, seeing faces out of the wall in her bedroom and not sleeping very well. At this time Karen was told it was all down to imagination, but she now understands these were her first signs of spirit communication. During her teenage years, Karen was given a set of Tarot cards as a Christmas present. Not realising exactly what they were she enjoyed playing with them and letting her friends know what they meant. As time when by she discovered that the information 'would just flow'. Karen also remembers hearing voices in her head - as this became more scary she decided to put them away.

After the passing of her dad in April 2002, Karen decided to visit a psychic fair to see if it would be possible for someone to contact him. This proved to be successful, so she decided 'why should I pay someone else to talk to him? Why can't I do this myself? This started her on her spiritual investigation pathway, and since then she has never looked back.

Spiritual Healing Course

A new Spiritual Healing Course  for 2010 is starting at Banyan Retreat  in September.

Our two year Certified Spiritual Healing course is fully compliant with guidelines laid out by the Alliance of Healers Association and UK Healers. Here at Banyan Retreat we have achieved Stage Four Accreditation for our course which ensures that we are compliant with the most current standards recommended by the associations we are accredited by.

The Banyan Retreat Healers Training Course enables students to explore and understand the principles and practice of healing. It also serves to support the personal spiritual growth of the individual, who is developing as a channel for healing energies. The course provides ample opportunity to ask questions and for practical workshop experience under the guidance of our well established professional healers - tutors.

Although the course covers a two year period it is only necessary for students to attend each of the four training day modules once throughout the two year period. They must also regularly attend practice sessions as often as their personal schedule permits (normally on a Wednesday Evening).

One Day Retreat

On Sunday 3rd October, 2010 we will be holding our Autumn Retreat Day. Starting at 10am the day will include many activities focusing on bringing about balance and harmony to mind, body and spirit. Only when we achieve complete harmony between mind, body and spirit do we function correctly and make progress on our physical journey.

Throughout the day we will practice different forms of Meditation, Sophrology, Tai Chi Qigong, Yoga and Native American Drum Healing. These will include:

Natalie is a popular demonstrator in churches and centres as well as conducting one to one readings.
