What is a VEGA Test?

The VEGA test is a device that was developed in Germany by Dr. Helmut Schimmel in 1978. He described the use of his instrument as Bio- electronic Regulatory Medicine (BER Medicine) It originated from electro-acupuncture according to Voll (EAV). Every cell has an energy level that can be measured in terms of its electrical potential. This device is used to detect imbalances within the body.

What Should I Expect During My Treatment?

The VEGA test requires the patient to hold a hand held electrode. A specific acupuncture point on the end of the toe or finger is then used for testing with a stylus. Individual samples taken from various homeopathic dilutions are then placed into the machine. A disorder control is an indicator of either a dysfunction within the body, a food intolerance or an environmental allergy. Deficiencies of vitamins and minerals are also tested in the same way.

This method of testing is safe, non invasive and painless. The results are immediate and there are no needles involved.

Who will I see?

You will be seen by Sheila Lane who is a fully qualified Vega Practitioner with over twenty years of knowledge and experience in testing and treating children and adults. Sheila worked at The Ashford Clinic of Complementary Medicine Clinic for many years and was a partner in the business. She has studied diet and nutrition and its effects on health and offers both advice and treatment for food intolerances and environmental allergies. She is a Member of the British Institute of Allergy and Environmental Therapists and a Member of The Complementary Medicine Association. Many of Sheila’s patients have suffered with chronic health problems for some time before they see her. By using the Vega Test, she is often able to identify the root cause of the problem with a holistic approach and encourages people to take responsibility for their own health once they are better.
